Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Davis! I had the honor of photographing Bianca & Lashley’s lovely wedding at The Amour Venue located on the campus of Jackson State University. When I first met Bianca & Lashley for their engagement session this summer, I knew that their wedding would be really special.
Every wedding that I shoot, I am always reminded of God’s will for our lives and how everything works according to his perfect plan. At Bianca & Lashley’s wedding, I absolutely loved the tying of the cord during the ceremony. The minister explained the significant meaning of the three colored cords, why they are braided to form one cord, and the reason why once the cord is braided, it is not easily undone. I wish I could remember what each color cord represents, but I was too busy focusing on getting the perfect shot!
