Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Grogan! Morgan & Jack had the sweetest southern wedding at McClain Lodge in Brandon, Mississippi last weekend! The day began with Morgan & Jack getting ready in separate locations on the property of McClain Lodge. I loved how Morgan’s bridal details tied into the overall theme for the wedding. The invitations and the bridal bouquet were a perfect match! One of my favorite parts of the day was photographing Morgan as she was getting ready. I loved capturing the precious moments as Morgan’s mom helped her to get into her wedding attire.
The ceremony was held in the chapel on the property. The chapel was absolutely perfect for their nuptials. The exposed wood and the natural sunlight that peeped through the windows really made the perfect location. A woodwind trio provided soft, classical music from composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, & Schubert. During the ceremony, the woodwind trio also played a special song that was specifically composed for Morgan & Jack.
After the ceremony, the guest enjoyed live music & dancing. Morgan’s father, who is also a music professor, played the saxophone during one of the songs at the reception! I loved how Morgan & Jack included their family in the wedding & reception. The groom’s cake table consisted of delicious, homemade brownies & cute little jugs for milk. Homemade cookies that were shaped like the state of MS were also provided as favors for the guest. View some of my favorites from their big day below!
