Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Wilson! Taylor & Wesley had a beautiful wedding in Jackson, Mississippi. The bride & groom started their day by getting ready in separate suites at The King Edward Hotel in Downtown Jackson. When I arrived, I noticed how calm and happy Taylor was for her big day! As the bride got her hair & makeup done, I spent time photographing her beautiful bridal details. When it was time for the bride to get dressed, her mother, sister, & flower girls all helped her to get ready. It was so sweet watching the flower girls help her mom to button her dress.
Once the bride was dressed, we headed to Calvary Baptist Church for the bride & groom’s first look. Taylor & Wesley were both so excited about having a first look! I loved capturing their excitement & emotions of seeing each other for the very first time. Immediately after the first look, Taylor & Wesley silently read handwritten letters that they had written for each other – that was one of the sweetest things that I loved about their first look!
The ceremony was held at Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. Calvary Baptist Church holds special memories for Taylor and her family. Taylor wanted to get married at this church because this is the church that her grandparents and family had gotten married at. Also, both Taylor & Wesley currently attend this church together.
After the ceremony, all of the guest headed to The Capital Club for the reception. Before the reception began, all of the guest waited outside to welcome Taylor & Wesley with an amazing grand entrance! It was so nice to see how happy the guest were about the newlyweds! The reception was held on the top floor of The Captial Club which overlooked the entire downtown Jackson. It was so amazing to watch the beautiful colors in the sky change as the sun was setting.
